When Sid Halverton receives an invitation from Thomas Edison to join the inventor and his friends Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone on a camping trip, he is beside himself with anticipation. His elation turns to horror when the woman who accompanies him disappears with the campout guest of honor - President Warren Harding.

Halverton teams up with the famous trio to track down and rescue the President, and to bring Harding's abductor to justice.
