I, Tupelo, stand in marvelled awe at the world in which I live. How this Earth differs from the one in which I was cloned. Here the sun shines and the air is breathable, there are no diseases to foul my breath and rot my lungs. By night the moons watch over us and man is our friend.Histus, that great sprawling monster of a city that I once called home no longer exists. The Earth that I walked upon was destroyed in the final war against the machines. They took us and processed us so that they may live on but even that had its purpose. . .
