A Desperate Journey is based on a true story about a woman's strugglies with life. After the lose of her children she disappears and for several years is involved with many illegal activities. After going to jail for prostitution she meets a man and settles down with him. They have two children and when her daughter dies on her sixteenth birthday the family falls apart. She continuses on getting involved in the drug trade. This story tells about the people who use drugs and the consequences involved. She hopes her story will let people know it is a very paranoid and dangerous life, it is aimed at helping those who may be in similar situations. Her biography also hopes to give those in better circumstances a greater appreciation for their own lives.
