Juliana Alexander was born in St. Lucia the "Helen of the West." and spent her secondary school years at Andrews High School and Moderns Business Schools in Trinidad.
At an early age she developed the love for writing, acting and telling stories. This talent flourished in Speech Class at the University of St. Martin where she obtained her Associates Degree in Business with concentration on Management. There her poetic skills took flight.
The International Society of Poets nominated Juliana to compete in the Worlds Championship of Amateur Poets which was held in Washington DC on August 17-19, 2001. She did not win the first Prize of $25,000 but came home with a medal and a plaque for her participation.
Juliana, a resident of St. Maarten is presently working as an Educational Administrative Secretary at St. Maarten Academy,Where she has been employed since 1989.
She is a well-rounded Caribbean woman and publishing this book is one of her dreams and aspirations.
