Imagine being told that your child is going to die, more than 2 years before it happens. Not told to you by someone here, but by a loved one who had passed away almost 3 years earlier. That person tells you the child will die, and even tells you the day of the week that it will happen, but you don’t know how long you have with that child, which child it will be, or even how the child will die, but you do know the day(s) of the week when it will happen. How do you face that day(s) of the week, every week, for years? When the prophecy comes true, do you just chalk it up to coincidence? Or do you accept it as a gift, a gift that you to embrace every day for the rest of your life?
