Janie lives an ideal life. She marries her high school sweetheart David, life for them is good, but then bad things happen, breaking apart Janie’s very foundation. Her fragile mind splinters as she sinks rapidly into the world of mental illness. In this novella, Janie's world is tragic; the only way she can cope is to weave her life back together in a way no one else can comprehend. She sees conspiracy everywhere, and it becomes clear that losing the battle with reality is inevitable as she crumbles into mental collapses, finally losing all hold on reality.
