Rosie likes to know everything about everything. When Daddy has a surprise for Rosie, she can’t wait to find out what it is. Rosie hops through the forest and across the meadow in search of her surprise. Along the way she meets a squirrel who gives her a clue, a den of moles who give her another clue and a nest of birds who give her yet another clue—but Rosie still doesn’t know what her surprise could be! As Rosie grows tired of searching she falls and slides down a hill, right to her Daddy and her surprise! A vertical gate-fold on the last page highlights Rosie’s larger-than-life surprise.
