In response to Richard Dawson's need to get away from the rigors of Washington and the pressures of its political demands, a temporary assignment, based in Hong Kong, was arranged, not only to give him a much needed vacation, but time to reevaluate his needs and to recharge his desire to return and continue fighting for the rights of farmers and ranchers who want little more than to keep their land out of the grasp of greedy corporations. Little did he know that love and romance would unexpectedly enter his world in the form of a beautiful Eurasian woman whose unfortunate predicament would take control of his life and lead him down a path filled with dangerous twists and turns, covered under multiple layers of intrigue. Her mysterious predicament would ultimately take them on a journey from Hong Kong to a luxurious yacht anchored in the Mediterranean where an exchange of money for human lives would turn into an adventure that would change his life forever, and become a time worth saving.
