Synopsis

A part of me became absorbed in everyday life. The stress of work and family, the thought of moving forward in a relationship, the increase in violence in the communities, an unstable economy, and countries at war prompted me to write these inspirational words. A Twist of Inspiration is about always looking toward the hills that provide help; all your help cometh from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. No one is perfect and mistakes will be made, no matter what your circumstances are or your situations may be. Take it all to Jesus and lay it at His feet. These short stories, poems of encouragement, and spiritual words of wisdom will uplift your spirit and remind you that the grace of God is always with you. About the Author I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. It was not until the late eighties that I confessed and gave my life to Christ. I am a single parent of a pre-teen daughter. We enjoy going to our local museum and taking long walks, and most of all, I enjoy listening to her play the piano and guitar. At a young age, I developed a passion for art. I am not the greatest artist, but I do love to draw. I was inspired to write these short stories, poems of encouragement, and spiritual words of wisdom not just for me but also for others, to lift their spirits and assure them that the grace of God is always with them, no matter what their circumstances or situations. Writing is a gift from God. How long it will last? I do not know. It is His will, not mine.
