Synopsis

The brilliantly original THE ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY: VOL. 2 cleverly redefines the traditional roles and methods of super-heroes. After the death of team leader Jenny Sparks, the members of the Authority decide to use their abilities to truly improve the world. Looking to affect change instead of simply protecting the status quo and fighting maniacal villains, the super-powered group intervenes in global politics as they overthrow corrupt regimes and violently force occupying countries out of foreign lands. Employing extreme measures against a variety of opponents that include a sadistic U.S. government team of super-beings, the countries of Russia and China, and the Earth itself, the Authority are successful in their new mission until a devastating defeat results in their own deaths.
