Review (5 Stars)

I really enjoyed his story. So personal and eager too, as he really wanted the green card. Not giving anything away, but I can't believe the number of steps in this "process" one has to go through to immigrate here - incredible! For an immigrant today, thankfully there are many resources the author points out.

The number of family members, friends, people you work with that you have to leave behind is daunting, but as he points out, the "modern age" allows us to keep in more contact - so funny and true to read what his parents - and his parents-in-law - had to say about the whole deal! His reflections and thoughts are so familiar to my family (who my ancestors immigrated here over 100 years ago). I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
