Body of a Human, Power of the Fallen : Heart of a Heroine. Among the Fallen Part Two, 'Restless Dreams', immediately follows on from where Among the Fallen: Resurrection ended. Alex finds herself alone in a derelict and haunted apartment block. The Crystal Lights Apartment building, seems at first, very misplaced. But as she goes deeper into the decaying nightmare, she discovers deathly secrets, haunting history and comes face to face with the second Fallen Challenger and is forced to question life itself. As Alex begins to unravel the mysteries behind the events prior to her resurrection, new enemies are revealed and new creatures arise from the ashes of the city. As the identity of the human behind the "Great Harvest" is revealed - Alex is forced to make the hardest of choices as the truth is laid out before her with merciless cruelty. As the city of Blackwater slips further into its own Hell, the dead continue to walk the streets, stalking Alex with relentless and unstoppable hunger as she races across the city; heading for the one place that could hold the answers she so desperately seeks. As Alex's mind hangs on the edge of her own waning insanity, she ends up in a confrontation with the Blackwater Security Countermeasure Service, chased by the mysterious and deadly Rhamnusia, as well as a confrontation with the twisted abomination that haunts the White Angel Psychiatric Hospital. "Restless Dreams", will reveal big secrets, new twists - and a whole new chain of events will be put into motion as the Dark Angel continues her gauntlet over the ruined streets of Blackwater. As Alex plunges further into the darkness around her, she fights against "the Game", a lethal and age old ritual leading to what could possibly be Earth's final extinction event - and destroying the gates into heaven forever. How does a person react when confronted with death at every angle, given power that could bring a city to it's knees? Would that person become a hero? Do they become a God? Or would they become something else?
