Ruth and Larry Maples were married forty-six years before Larry's death from Plasma Cell Leukemia in March of 2006. As a gift to herself, friends and family the author shares in these pages her first year's journey through loss and grief. Drawn from her journal entries, the poems and reflections in this powerful book speak of love, sorrow, restlessness, faith and how the loss of someone we love alters our experience of the world and of our self. And now these three remain: Faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians: 13:13
