Synopsis

In this entertaining and educational book, children are introduced to some exotic -- and exotically named -- animals. Beautiful watercolor paintings by bestselling artist Sylvia Long illustrate the whimsy and humor that can be found in the names of a variety of unusual animals. A brief text describing the animal and its habitat, as well as a glossary of natural history terms makes this a great way to meet curious creatures from around the globe.
