Phil Steer finds himself an author almost by accident. His book, "As a Child: God's Call to Littleness", was written in response to an unexpected enquiry, following many years as an occasional preacher at his local church. Since publication, chapters from "As a Child" have appeared in "Quiet Spaces", the prayer and spirituality journal published by BRF. Phil Steer trained as a software developer, and currently works for a large insurance company in the City of London. He is married with three children and lives in Romford, on the London/Essex border.
