While this year’s book will not be proven “deadly accurate” until the 2013 season is over — which is already a dreadful thought and that’s still seven months away — the 2012 edition of the book has some pretty wicked close predictions.

I'm not a fantasy sports player, and I'm still not convinced that this a perfect fit for that part of the sports-reading population..."Baseball Prospectus 2013" will make readers smarter fans, though, even if previous editions were more entertaining.
