If you want to learn to play the bass guitar quickly and easily this book is for you. I believe you will find my teaching method unique. As you learn the chord forms and notes you will also learn how they fit together to make up songs. For example, a song in the key of C has four main chords that go together to make up the song. C, F, G, and Am. My lessons are given by keys. YEach chapter is devoted to one key. This will help you remember which chords go together to make up this key. You will find the four most common chords that are used in each key to make up a song. I also give you multiple positions to play the same note pattern on the bass. This book is designed to teach you to play by ear, but you will also find a section that gives you the notes on the musical staff in the event you wish to learn to read music for the bass. I have also given given the Major Scale in each key to help you figure out more chords that you can use in each key. Any notes in the scale can be transformed into chords that will fit in the given key. Included are some advanced techniques to help advance your playing to a new level. Upon completion of this book you should be well on your way to becoming a serious bass player.
