She draws inspiration from her Alaskan surroundings and her own cozy kitchen.Erik Brooks spent much of his childhood in Anchorage where he explored the outdoors. He has illustrated several children’s book including Polar Polka and A Totem Tale.
Author Residence: Sitka, AKERIK BROOKS spent much of his childhood in Anchorage, AK, where he explored the outdoors and had Alaska-specific experiences such as seeing the occasional moose wandering through the yard and getting run over by a dog sled.
