Synopsis

“Beyond Reason” is the true story of the author Bryan Dressler’s battle with bipolar disorder. During his second major episode he commits a catastrophic suicide with a large dagger inflicting several fatal wounds. Left for dead in a wooded area of Washington, he is summoned by a body-less voice to save himself. Nearly bled out, he walks 50 yards to the road and flags a passing motorist. Airlifted by helicopter to a Seattle trauma center, he lapses into a Near Death Experience, (NDE). This intimate portrayal of an ideal early life, the challenges of a creative mind, and the strength of faith, love and courage shine a ray of hope for family, friends and individuals living with brain issues. Bryan Dressler was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1960. Growing up in an artistic family he has always been expressive and philosophical. Mr. Dressler is an accomplished artist and musician. He has been an award winning, internationally known designer & engineer for the last 30 years. He has helped pioneer many world changing technologies that will be around for decades to come. After his cataclysmic death, as a result of suicide in 1998, he has embarked on a writing career to share the inside of his life experiences and the world of new ideas.
