Dr. Paul Rice is a modern-day throwback to the infamous Dr. Jekyll. He is a physician and brilliant biochemist who spends most of his adult life in experiments that that would release his inner, female alter ego and bring it out to the surface. Once he feels certain that he had found the proper formula, he injects himself with the serum.
Unlike the story of Dr. Jekyll, Paul's creation isn't a monster but a beautiful, bright, and benevolent young woman who, pleasing him to no end, permanently replaces his physical and mental being.
Despite his long life in the laboratory to the exclusion of almost everything else, Dr. Rice is not an unrealistic academic and knows the value of his invention as a sort of 'fountain of youth' serum that would reverse the aging process of any who will be willing to pay the price to become young again.
Paula, as she now calls herself, seeks a middle-aged, business savvy attorney who would be able to help her market her amazing discovery. She finds the proper candidate in Justine, an aging transgender woman who, after paula proves the viability of her product by turning her into a strapping young man, fully accepts her claim.
Together, they market her formula to people who not only wish to regain their youth but are literally on deaths-door, and can afford to pay the price.
