Synopsis

Lear and Erica are exiled from the Collegium, Lear's immortality effectively stripped away until he earns the Consul's favor. All he has to do is stop the world's most notorious and powerful wizard, Fortis Perditor. His teacher, Mede, and his student, Quinta are cast out with him until the task is complete.
In Denly, the seat of power of the Feccish States, something lurks beneath the surface of abject poverty and social repression, and it has the fingerprints of Fortis all over it. A once-bustling manufacturing town is worn and beaten. The people of Denly are desperate enough to sell their own lives. Lear needs to find out whom they are selling to, and why. It's hard to get to the bottom of a conspiracy in a city where everyone's afraid to talk.
Join Lear, Erica, Mede, Quinta, and Roland as the set out to find the source of Blood Money.
