Anne McTiernan, M.D., Ph.D., is an international leader in research on exercise and other methods to prevent breast cancer occurrence and recurrence. She is a scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Research Associate Professor at the University of Washington. Her scientific findings have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and other major scientific publications, magazines, and newspapers. She lives near Seattle, Washington.Julie Gralow, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology specializing in breast cancer at the University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is Director of the University of Washington's Women's Cancer Genetics and Risk Reduction Clinic. She is Co-Chair of the Southwest Oncology Group's Breast Cancer Committee and serves as Medical Director for Team Survivor Northwest. She lives in Seattle, Washington.Lisa Talbott has been teaching exercise to individuals and groups for over 19 years. As a fitness and therapeutic exercise specialist, Lisa co-founded Team Survivor, a national non-profit organization that teaches women cancer survivors how to use exercise for physical and emotional recovery. She is the health promotion manager at Cancer Lifeline and is completing her graduate studies in public health education. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
