"The story’s strength lies in its simplicity; children will appreciate the perfectly captured snapshot of an innocent but incautious moment of play. But the story fails to recognize that getting blasted in the face while riding a tricycle—with or without goggles— could easily result in a child losing control and getting hurt."

Synopsis

FACT: Kids get hurt- bad sometimes! Besides band-aids and hugs what do we really do to prevent re-occurring pain from a similar incident to our young ones. I have spent the last 28 years writing and implementing safety programs and processes. During that time I participated in nearly 400 incident investigations, 325 involved an injury. Mission, to give care and work to prevent a re-occurrence of caused injury. With my grandchildren's help we are writing picture books giving our young folks a beginners course in safety behaviors. Thanks for your attention to our mission and we hope you can join us on our journey to make safety a part of growing up, not a interruption or a compliance issue at 18 and on. Sincerely, Gav, Bug and Pops welcomes you to our first journey of the" Kids get hurt book series"
