William H. Pivar is Professor Emeritus, Business and Real Estate Coordinator at College of the Desert, Palm Springs, California. He received California Real Estate Educator of the Year in 1994. He received his BS and JD degrees from the University of Wisconsin. His experience includes real estate salesman, broker, developer, Federal Government Attorney, author, and educator. Professor Pivar has published numerous textbooks on real estate. Dennis J. McKenzie, MBA, MA Economics, was an instructor in Real Estate and Economics, College of the Redwoods. He was formerly senior faculty in real estate, University of Southern California, College of Continuing Education. McKenzie was a REALTORо, a GRI, and a faculty member of the REALTORSо Institute. He also served as an educational consultant for the California Department of Real Estate and was a past recipient of the Teacher of the Year award granted by the California Real Estate Educators Association.
