A great fan of Forever Knight, she collaborated with actor Nigel Bennet (LaCroix) on Keeper of the King and His Father's Son. She is currently working on a new set of toothy titles and branching into the mystery and science fiction genres.

The backdrop of the night club only makes the feel of that hard-boiled detective with a heart of gold undertone richer (even though he's more a hard-boiled reporter who's now a vampire who runs a night club and occasionally helps his friend the detective).

Worse, Hurley, hiding in Jack's vehicle, realizes that the sleuth is a vampire when he sees Jack drink the blood of a cow.
