Her primary research interests concern changes in public policies and their measurable public health outcomes. Author of several newspaper articles, she has also contributed to a collection of poetry and a book of short stories. An avid traveler since childhood, she has journeyed to forty-eight states, several American Indian reservations, and a few communities in Central and South America, and the Middle East.
