The story is set in post conflict Belfast, where organised criminal gangs take advantage of the vacuum left by the paramilitary groups. In this environment private detective Danny Quinn struggles to prevent his own life from imploding, and when he agrees to help American, Katie Levy, find her long lost aunt, he unwittingly sets in motion a sequence of events that bring him into direct conflict with the most ruthless gang in the city. The only resources he can rely on are his unpredictable alcoholic friends from the streets. Soon he finds himself fighting for everyone's survival.
