B.G. Henessy is the author of more than thirty children's books. For many years she worked as an art director at a major children's book publisher in New York, and now she lives on Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with her husbands and sons. He was the award-winning author of many popular titles, including "Corduroy, Dandelion, Manuelo the Playing Mantis," and the Caldecott Honor book "Fly High, Fly Low." He died in 1978. Susan Ring has written many fiction and nonfiction books for children. She has also created award-winning television programs, zoo and museum exhibits, and music. She live in Providence, Rhode Island. Lisa McCue has written and illustrated countless books for children. She also designs her own line of greeting cards. She lives in Annapolis, Maryland.
