Synopsis

Cows can't fly, but I don't care.

One day I drew some in the air!

And then, like magic, came a breeze

that grabbed my cows and shook the trees...

Everyone knows cows can't fly...but then why are they suddenly soaring all over town? When one boy tries to point them out to his parents, his teacher, or anyone else who will listen, no one believes him. Or can it be that everyone is just too busy looking down? David Milgrim's bold, graphic pictures and simple text tell the story of one young artist's most unusual day...in a world where anything just may be possible.

The title’s assertion is a perfect set-up for a small boy to prove otherwise, in this merry tale of self-fulfilling prophecy from Milgrim (Dog Brain, 1996).
