Lieutenant Kiiyla Ciari never dreamed of a career in the Confederation Space Corps. Growing up on the streets of Ukatmah as a war criminal, Kiiyla didn't have time to dream much at all, that is until her world came to an end. Captured and left to drift in space, Kiiyla begins a journey that takes her to the farthest reaches of her existence. She discovers she has a unique heritage. Kiiyla is a descendent of a powerful race of beings whose lives are cloaked in obscurity. However, Kiiyla is not the only one who knows this and soon she finds herself fighting for control over a new power she does not yet understand and, ultimately, for her very life.
