Dead Highways - 1: Coma

Dead Highways is a post-apocalyptic zombie serial. Each month, new installments will come out moving the story one step closer to its thrilling conclusion. Dead Highways is always fun, never predictable, and loaded with pop-culture references. The apocalypse couldn't have asked for a more entertaining narrator.

There was no warning.

In less than two weeks, the sickness crossed the globe infecting the vast majority of the population.

STAGE 1: Fatigue, loss of motor control, blurred-vision.
STAGE 2: Coma.

A lonely bookworm and stranger to outside adventure, Jimmy is one of the lucky ones immune to the infection. Together with a wild group of companions, Jimmy must figure out how to move on in a world where most of the population has fallen into a coma.

But that's just the beginning.

STAGE 3: With their reprogramming complete, the infected wake up and begin to migrate west in massive herds, destroying any of the remaining immune along the way.

But where are they going, and what is guiding them? Can Jimmy and his new friends stay alive long enough to find out what waits at the end of these dead highways?
