Jessie Munro's perfect life is thrown in to chaos when her husband disappears leaving her a mountain of debt. Newly divorced having just turned thirty and facing the possibility of being homeless, she desperately needs to find a way out. Seeing an ad for a House-sitter she decides to apply. But unknown to Jessie there's a catch - once she enters she cannot leave. To make matters worse the house is in a warehouse in a seedy part of New York City and there's something weird about the owner. When he insists Jessie wears a blindfold before she can talk to him, she suspects he's someone very famous. But the truth surprises and horrifies her. After meeting him for the first time, Jessie realizes her problems have only just begun...
