Distracter (n): one who takes somebody’s attention away from what he or she is doing or thinking, or from what is happening. Mike leads a team of seasoned, highly skilled operatives: Shawn is a strong British lad, John is the technical geek, Tina is the beautiful bait as well as Mike's lover, and Catherine's mixed martial arts skills have no match. The team goes on missions across the world and regardless of the client or the location, their job is simple: create a distraction—aka misdirection—for other criminal organizations so that they can complete their own missions. They are constantly riding the razor’s edge between success and failure, their impeccable timing and skill is all that keeps them alive. Until a mission goes horribly wrong. A man-made earthquake, a ruthless and mysterious boss, and a relentless enemy have now turned their world upside down, and they find themselves on the run to clear their names—and save their own lives. All bets are off as treachery and intrigue lead to retribution and deliverance.
