The ending is surprising and offers deep satisfaction, while also suggesting a new, intriguing direction for Will to use his abilities. Readers will be impatient for the novel’s planned sequel.

Synopsis

Ever have that dream where you can fly?

Will Stewart had a perfect record as a pilot. One landing for every takeoff. Until he hit something, and his airplane came out of the sky in pieces. But he didn’t. They found him sitting in a marsh in the pilot’s seat, injured but alive. Nobody survives a fall from five hundred feet at a hundred and forty miles per hour. Will came away from it with a gift--something that makes him vanish--and fly, minus airplane!

In this, the second DIVISIBLE MAN novel Will takes control of an ability found only in dreams. When the Essex County wedding of the century erupts in gunfire, Will and Andy Stewart find themselves in pursuit of a criminal element no one could have foreseen. Andy breaks the case and Will breaks the rules. Because when you can fly, and no one can see you, there are no rules.

Kirkus Reviews calls DIVISIBLE MAN: THE SIXTH PAWN "A crisply written thriller...exciting with big emotional payoffs...a great read."

"Seaborne, a flight instructor and charter pilot, vividly evokes the world of charter airlines and those who populate them, particularly with his well-drawn character sketches... The book offers lots of information on aviation and law enforcement, but it's nicely counterbalanced with warm human relationships, such as the one between Will and Andy... Altogether, this book is a strong start to a series..." - Kirkus Reviews

Author Howard Seaborne writes, flies airplanes and helicopters, and takes you on a twisted path in this, the second DIVISIBLE MAN novel.
