Quiner coaches gymnastics at Shields Gymnastics in Mount Freedom, New Jersey. Formerly known as Krista Bailey, she was a competitive gymnast for fifteen years. She began her gymnastics career at Gymnastics World in Broadview Heights, Ohio. She competed as a class I gymnast at Gymnastics of Ohio in North Canton throughout high school and received a gymnastics scholarship to the University of Denver, an NCAA Division I school, where she set a school record on floor exercise. Krista holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Denver in International Studies and French.
