Susan Wojciechowski has three grown children and lives with her husband in York, Pennsylvania, where sh"e "works as a writing consultant at the Learning Center of York College. Tom Curry lives in Alpine, Texas. In addition to being an award-winning acrylic painter, he is the illustrator of several children's books. Rebecca Tova Ben-Zvi makes her latkes with sweet potatoes and plays dreidel year-round. Writing as Rebecca O'Connell, she is the author of "The Baby Goes Beep," A librarian and storyteller, she lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Susanna Natti lives in Bedford, Massachusetts, and hums the dreidel song when she's making potato latkes for her family. Jim-the dog stays close and hopes for extras.

When she loses her tooth before she can collect on it, she conscientiously writes the tooth fairy a thank-you note, a note explaining how the tooth was lost, a diagram illustrating the second note, and one highly emotional poem: Beany gets paid, of course.
