President Brown's immediate violent response to the incident endears him to the nation, guaranteeing him two terms in office. But he wants more, and after the November election he will refuse to step down as president. As his term winds down, it becomes necessary to rid himself of his assassins, and a scientist/psychologist verbose in the use of mind altering techniques monitored with fMRI, places the assassins into new lives with no memory of their past.
A year later, something brings them out of their dormancy, they regain their memories, and all of them set out to a lake in Idaho to meet again. But someone wants them dead. Could it be their old handler, Grouse? He may fear they will now target him for death. Duggin, Artie, Mark and Lorne fight the odds to remain alive, and somehow learn why they were awakened, while Grouse sends in the A-team to destroy them.
This story never slows down, so prepare to speed read it,and start early in the day so you can sleep at night.
