When Kitty discovers a fish on top of the kitchen cupboard, she sets out to acquire it for her dinner, wreaking havoc in the process and leaving herself trapped on top of the cupboard, with the fish ending up one someone else's plate.

Jennings, a former children's book editor. Tanya Linch studied fine art at Manchester College in England. After completing her degree, she traveled to Israel and worked in a gallery for three years, where she developed a passion for illustrating children's books.Since returning to London in 1994, she has designed greeting cards and illustrated several children's books, including This and That, Kitty's Dishy Dinner, and Easy Peasy (originally titled Look Out for the Big Bad Fish). My Duck is the first book she has both illustrated and written.She lives in London, England, with her son.
