Antoinette Levine began her lifelong study of Eastern philosophies and self development in Catholic school before admittance, at 18, to the University of California at Santa Barbara. A psychology major and member of the Counseling Center’s team of peer counselors, she recognized that the existing psychology curriculum did not include a vital transpersonal component, so she redirected her educational path. In 1976, she transferred to the University of Southern California to partake in her other passions: writing, public speaking and athletics. Hired as a USC teacher’s assistant, Antoinette facilitated an undergrad personal growth, human-development course, peer counseled student athletes at USC’s counseling center and juggled off-campus jobs with her studies, including adventures as a DJ’s assistant at a popular LA radio station. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and Journalism from USC’s Annenberg School of Journalism. Antoinette then advanced into middle-management positions in the radio and fitness industries. A 1985 opportunity at Paramount Pictures led to her twenty-three-year career as a film and television Location Professional. Her credits in the Motion Picture Industry include managing projects for the major U.S. studios and independents. Thirty six years of non-stop dedication and commitment generated professional success and fueled her ongoing personal growth. Yet as her soulful fate would have it, her relentless work efforts culminated in face-to-face visits with death and other life changing experiences.
