When Medad was enrolled into the University of Elements he was but a boy. Now as young man he has fallen from grace and been seduced by the Dark Mistress, fire is is greatest desire.
Hunted and hated by those who were once his brothers Medad runs for his life leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. As the storms gather around him he falls deeper into darkness taking the innocence of a young girl who is left with his child.
The lands of Alzear are besieged by the goblins and the undead and the warlock is all but forgotten. The mages are powerless to resist the invaders, the only hope lies in the Great Prophecy. Can the spawn of a warlock be the one to restore the land and defeat the armies of darkness.

This novel was previously released by an indie press. It now forms the background to a trilogy beginning with The End of Mor.
