Llanso has explored several aspects of weapons technology and broader defense issues during his master's degree programs at the University of Delaware and Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Walter J. Boyne is a retired U.S. Air Force pilot, the former director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum, a best-selling author, and a world-renowned authority on aviation history. His thirty books include "The Smithsonian Book of Flight", "Eagles at War", and "Beyond the Wild Blue: A History of the United States Air Force, 1947-1997". He lives in Ashburn, Virginia.
