Synopsis

Anthony is a troubled young teen who is about to experience a horror that will shape and define his life forever. This book follows him after this revelation as he goes to his first college and fails. He attends another university in Harrisburg, where he joins a fraternity at the behest of his best friend from home. The fraternity life is much crazier than he expected it to be. He is introduced to severe hazing along with his first experiences with drugs.

Before long, his life has spiraled into debauchery, including the use of steroids. Addicted to their effects, he embarks on a journey to Matamoros, Mexico, where he plans to smuggle the drugs back into Texas. EXPLICIT NATURE follows the days leading up to the perilous crossing at the Mexican/United States border, in which he is smuggling enough illegal drugs that if caught will land him in prison for a minimum of five years.

The story shifts back to the fraternity. It follows Anthony as he begins to try his hand at hazing, even though he had sworn never to do so. Before long, he realizes he has acquired a taste for the abuse of others. Eventually, his immoral behavior gets him expelled from the university, leading into the second phase of his life; which is even more decadent than the first one was. EXPLICIT NATURE reveals an intimate look at Anthony as he struggles with drug addiction, thoughts of suicide, and rampant promiscuity.
