The Guide features 233 buildings with basic information on their history and precise enhanced by a wealth of illustrations and fifty-five plans of the most important buildings. A general map at the front of the book enables the reader to see the featured buildings in relation to one another while more localised maps at the beginning of each chapter provide further assistance.
