A group of math savants get on the bad side of the Galactic Emperor and get exiled for reasons far from political. Big mistake by the Emperor! Using their math skills, the kids escape and return to topple the Imperial throne.

The political revolution they created pales against the changes to the general understanding of the universe which results from the method of their escape from captivity.
