The third tale revolving around the Hennessy siblings, the sequel to Blue Silver: Making Noise... Kyle Hennessy turned over a new leaf when he transferred to Lake Superior State College. Committed to his studies and determined to prove his worth to his family, he's sworn off partying and random girls. With the help of his conscience, a cartoon cow affectionately known as The Beef, Kyle hopes to stay on the straight and narrow. But it's hard to be good when a siren of a (married) professor taunts him from the blackboard...especially when befriending Madame Venet--who can teach him more than French--might save his sister Faith the heartbreak of the century.

Gabrielle Venet has a strict rule against personal interactions with students and other professors. To combat the advances of an unrelenting colleague, she dons a ring and displays a Photoshopped picture of her and a faux husband. Little does she know she's chosen the wrong man to Photoshop--a former rock-n-roll drummer (Troy Douglas of the band Blue Silver). When one of her students-one who can curl her toes with a lingering look-begins asking questions about her "husband," her web of lies begins to unravel. She's stuck between the rock of her mantra against getting personal, and the hard place that is Kyle's embrace. Insisting she's married means causing Kyle's sister (the drummer's would-be girlfriend) undue heartache. But admitting her marriage is a façade will undoubtedly land Gabrielle in her student's arms...
