Synopsis

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a TV news reporter, to ride in a helicopter and be live on-air in the middle of the action? Now you can travel along with three young reporters as they track down stories, and find romance of their own.
Rachael is an ambitious girl from a working-class family who is determined to make it to a major network. She falls for an airline pilot, and must decide between love and career. Former beauty queen, Darcy, uses her looks to seduce an influential, married millionaire. She becomes intrigued by a prostitute who unwittingly participates in a murder, and begins to see beyond wealth and glamour. Frank is naturally talented, but willing to use brutal tactics to beat the competition.
Who will save them from the mess they create?
Prejudices, stereotypes and betrayal of trust play a role as the reporters grow in their search for the facts. Written by a real-life reporter, GOING LIVE is a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the work of local news reporters, and the ethical decisions they make that mirror the good vs. evil battle on the streets.
“You will never watch local TV news the same way again!”
