DeLinda Lange thought her life was simple with her dog and Rose garden, that she spent most of her time in when the weather permitted. Until…one night when she was walking home from her meaningless job at a bar, she was attacked by a vampire. She didn’t even know vampires existed. She gave everything she could to save her own life. She even punched the vamp in the nose, but when everything seemed at a loss, and that she was going to die, the vampire was knocked off of her. Rex Johnston executed the vampire. He is remarkable at what he does, and when he realized DeLinda had potential in the way of vampire extermination, he offered her a job. After reading the reports in the newspapers and the mysterious cases that she found herself being called out to, she knew something other than vampires was responsible for the slayings of the animals in her county. On her mission to find out the truth she finds herself in the middle of something she didn’t even know was possible, but anything is possible in her world.
