Fresh from solving the Rusty Hill Mystery, Hale and the gang are looking forward to the big talent show after Fourth of July weekend. The fireworks come early, however, as two members have an awful fight. Hard feelings, strange behavior, and terrible dreams result as Hale tries to keep things together. A retired school teacher and her eccentric mother are thrown into the mix, along with a cigar box of clues, an old cemetery, and a 70 year-old puzzle. The gang gets involved in a mystery so complex, it takes all their cleverness to figure out what they're even looking for. Laughs, shocks, and surprises come fast and furious, as the gang struggles to discover the secrets of Harrow House.
