Larsen Dass once had the world by the tail. He was a five star chef with the best job in town. When his health failed he lost his marriage, job, and home. Reduced to cooking in a nursing home, called Havenwood Lodge, he begins to start his life anew.He finds his new life to be anything but boring. Things are very strange at his new job; the house where he is living is haunted, and he finds himself falling in love again. When he discovers the terrible secret of Havenwood he finds himself in a struggle against an ancient evil. In the dead of winter he must battle mankind's fiercest enemy, while a storm from Hell ravages the Lodge. The fate of the residents of this home, and the employees is in his hands, and he must defeat the very soul of darkness to save his new lady love.
