Synopsis

The world is in the midst of a renaissance but seventeen-year-old musical prodigy, Rembrandt Fairlight is floundering in his own creative drought. All Remy has ever known is music. Now he's at a crossroads. Despite his creative accomplishments, Remy believes there's more to life than his next symphony and he decides that learning the truth about his long-dead father might help him discover what it is he knows he's missing. But the world is also in danger of being consumed by a tyranny even more sinister than the one Remy's mother and stepfather had previously helped to overturn. At the threshold of a secret insurrection is young Hope Anstace, who will do anything to defend her family's estate against the mysterious raiders who have been pillaging the countryside. When Remy and Hope are thrown together, sparks fly. Hope discovers that she needs Remy's help in her fight. And Remy realizes that it has been Hope all along that he has been missing. But Hope has already started down a dark path of her own... The sequel to Chance for the Future, Hope for Tomorrow is a coming-of-age tale of adventure and romance that proves that clarity can sometimes best be found in chaos and that love can survive whatever may come.
